Call for Tutorials
IEEE SSP 2027 invites proposals for tutorials on established or emerging topics in statistical signal processing and its applications. Tutorials will run on Monday, 28 June 2027, the opening day of the workshop, giving attendees a grounding in the field before the main technical programme begins.
Proposal Guidelines
Tutorial proposals will be judged on the technical quality, relevance and timeliness of the topic, the quality of the proposal, and the qualification of the speakers. Four to six two-hour tutorials are planned, with no more than two running in parallel. When registering, attendees may choose one tutorial in the morning and one in the afternoon. Tutorials with fewer than 10 registrations a week after the early registration deadline will not run, unless otherwise decided by the Tutorials Chair. It is the responsibility of the tutorial speakers to ensure no copyright issues arise from their presentation.
Proposal submissions are restricted to 6 pages (excluding any sample presentation material) and must include the following information:
- Tutorial title
- Tutorial speaker(s): name, affiliation, email and web page
- Tutorial motivation and relevance
- Tutorial outline
- Short CV (max. two A4 pages in total) of all speakers
- Indication of whether the same tutorial will be submitted, within 12 months, to other conferences in the field, including previous submissions within the last 3 years and what will be different for the current submission
Prospective tutorial speakers are invited to submit their proposal by e-mail in PDF to the Tutorials Chairs:

- Audrey Repetti Heriot Watt University, UK, [email protected]
